This Sunday, April 17 marks the first year anniversary for Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).
The King could soon be traveling from Siam to Anna's world in Britain! The Daily Mail writes that Tony winner Kelli O'Hara might be leading Broadway's THE KING AND I across the pond late next year or in early 2017, with the Drury Lane Theatre rumored as the musical's new home.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced the casting of Jose Llana and Hoon Lee in the role of the King of Siam in its Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I, directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).
Broadway legend Joel Grey (CABARET, WICKED) and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein (FINDING NEVERLAND) were honored last night at this year's Fred and Adele Astaire Awards. The gala evening CELEBRATED the 2015 season's outstanding dance and choreography on Broadway and film. Gotham Chamber Opera presents the final production of the 2014/2015 season, The Tempest Songbook, comprised of incidental music for The Tempest composed in 1695 and attributed to Henry Purcell and Kaija Saariaho's 2004 Tempest Songbook for soprano, baritone and period instrument ensemble, in its U.S. and World Stage Premieres.A co-production with The Martha Graham Dance Company, The Tempest Songbook will be performed in The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, with three performances from March 27 - 29, 2015.
