The Long Beach Playhouse opens its 2018 - 2019 Mainstage Season (The 90th) with Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher. The play explores the question: 'What if Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective found himself in a plot inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson?' The play is set in the heart of London in a windowless house where Europe's most powerful men gather to play a murderous game. On this particular night, the club welcomes a new member, Sherlock Holmes. Does Holmes actually wish to die? Can his friend Dr. Watson save him?

Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino just announced key casting for the 2018 season of the Stratford Festival, including Seana McKenna as Julius Caesar, Andr Sills as Coriolanus, and Daren A. Herbert as Harold Hill, the 'Music Man.'

One night a year spirits dead n' gone rise up to walk the earth trying to find their way home. These wandering spirits are lost in limbo as penance for something they've left undone in life, unless they can find a sympathetic ear to life the burden. But don't be fooled, they're not innocent and havoc will arise when jealous lovers, ambitions ingenues and drunk has-beens clash, threatening to recreate the turmoil of their lives and keep them locked in limbo eternally. Ushered into the land of the living by Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, these celebrity ghosts are given one last chance to heal their 'past life issues' or remain in limbo forever. Local theatre company Olio Theatre Works and director Gigi Fusco-Meese welcome three new actors to the cast of timely drama INTIMATELY WILDE to the Long Beach Playhouse's Studio Theatre January 11th - 27, 2013 as a part of the 2nd Annual "People's Theatrical Collaborative".
