Rori Coleman BIO

Dublin-born Rori Coleman is a composer, arranger, producer and sound engineer. He studied classical guitar at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Composition credits include: music for the feature film Short Order with Emma de Caunes, Jack Dee, John Hurt, Vanessa Redgrave, and Rade Serbedzija; numerous short films the most recent being Sugarstick winner of best black comedy at the New York International Independent film and video festival 2009. Composition for many documentaries including the Global Nomad series, Decay, Nasc Greenland. Music for advertising, commissions include: Independent News and Media Group PLC, Lufthansa Airlines, European Environment Agency.

Arranging/Production/Engineering/Musician credits include: co-producer and guitarist on "Love's in need of love today" written by Stevie Wonder performed by Bono and Stevie Wonder for the documentary film Darfur now. Recording engineer on "I am the blues" from Johnny Hallyday's 2008 album Le Coeur d'un Homme. Producer and engineer on 'Invocation' the debut album by leading Irish classical guitarist Michael O'Toole. Co-producer and engineer on "Adolf Gebler, Clarinettist" by Roger Doyle from his 'Cool Steel Army' album 2008. String arrangement on "Should have been gone" for Preacher's Son from their 'Love, Life and Limb' album released October 2010.
