Following the opening two weekends at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco, the Festival will move to SAFEhouse Arts at 145 Eddy Street for weekend three, with a final program at Laney College Theater in Oakland, March 9 10. The 11th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance and Music, In Search of Soul, April 9-26, will feature three exuberant weeks of Caribbean dance and music performances, master classes, film screenings, lectures and celebrations at three Bay Area venues, ODC Theater and Dance Mission Theater, both in San Francisco, and Laney College Theater in Oakland.

After last year's much-lauded season, ODC Theater's 2014 season offers a range of performances featuring established and emerging artists from around the country and as far away as Israel. Anchoring the season are two festivals: the return of the Walking Distance Dance Festival-SF in May, and spanning four weeks from July into August, the Music Moves Festival, a celebration of music and dance. In fact, the Theater's entire season is studded with concerts that feature dance and live music. The relationship between the two serves as a recurring theme for artists and audiences alike.

In anticipation of its 10-year anniversary in 2014, theBlack Choreographers Festival: Here & Now announces a wide-ranging program of performances and workshops, as well as a film screening, book release, gallery exhibition and honors ceremony. This year's Festival takes place from February 9 to March 8, 2014 at venues in San Francisco and Oakland, California. Performance highlights include works by Nora Chipaumire, Gregory Dawson, Joanna Haigood, Portsha Jefferson, Marc Bamuthi Joseph and Robert Moses.
