Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine received tonight the first annual Award of George 'Best' Costacos Cultural and Cancer Research Foundation for significant philanthropic activities at the National Historical Museum (an old Parliament building) in Athens. At the same ceremony, choreographer Maria Hors was awarded for her contributions to the arts.
Memorial Marathon Honoring George Best Costacos To Be Held 7/11
The events in honor of the late Broadway actor/singer George 'Best' Costacos are continuing in his native Greece on the beautiful island of Aegina, where George was laid to rest last November. The first George 'Best' Costacos Memorial Marathon will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
