Buffalo born playwrights and authors  often have used their hometown as their setting, from A.R. Gurney to Tom Dudzick to Lauren Belfer. Now we can add Laura Pedersen,  whose FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE opened the 710 Main Theatre season last night.

(formerly titled THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN), a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen FROM BUFFALO, will open the 2015-2016 Frey Electric Construction Co.  Season at the 710 Main Theatre (formerly Studio Arena Theatre) in Buffalo, New York, with a limited engagement scheduled to play tonight, September 17 - Sunday, October 4, 2015.  Directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! is set in Buffalo, where Ms. Pedersen was born and raised.
