The Menier Chocolate Factory has returned to live performances with the European première of Paula Vogel’s Tony Award-winning Indecent – the production was in previews at the time of national lockdown in March 2020.

Opening in the company's new smaller studio space, The Mixing Room, is the world première of Brian & Roger – A Highly Offensive Play inspired by their hit podcast Brian & Roger, written and performed by Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner. Artistic Director of the Menier David Babani directs the production opening in October.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces that the run of Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton: An American Parody extends due to public demand - the production now runs until 15 September.
Menier Chocolate Factory Announces Casting For The UK Premiere Of Gerard Alessandrini's SPAMILTON: AN AMERICAN PARODY

With the UK premiere of The Gronholm Method running at the Menier, Travesties running on Broadway and The Color Purple on tour in the US, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the cast for UK premiere of Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton: An American Parody which opens at the theatre on 24 July, with previews from 12 July and runs until 8 September. Alessandrini directs Marc Akinfolarin, Jason Denton, Eddie Elliott, Liam Tamne and Julie Yammanee, with special guests Sophie-Louise Dann and Damian Humbley. The production renews Alessandrini's collaboration with the Menier following Forbidden Broadway which ran both at the theatre and in the West End.
THE WEDDING Visits Manchester HOME This September

Award-winning physical theatre company Gecko's new show The Wedding focuses on personal and political marriage. With a performing company of nine, this is Gecko's most ambitious show to date and visits Manchester's HOME for a limited run (12-16 September).
