MOved to the USA in 2005 after working with every major theatre company in the UK,including the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Exchange Manchester, and in the West End the Old Vic and The Haymarket. After training at RADA he worked with the Everyman THeatre Liverpool, where he played the titlte roles in HAMLET, RICHARD II and THE BOSTON STRANGLER.
In the USA he has played season with the Old Globe (CA) and Shakespeare and Company (MS), and appeared on Law And Order, RESCUE ME, A GIFTED MAN and GUIDING LIGHT.
He is also known for his workshops for people with Alzheimer's disease, both in the UK and the USA, applying the methods used by actors for learning lines to help patients keep their memories.
In his free lessons for actor on Youtube he seeks to pass on his knowledge of British THeatre which has been described by London University as "second to none".

Jim Brochu To Guest On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 11/8


Jim Brochu, soon to star as Sheridan Whiteside in Moss Hart & George S. Kaufman's THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, is set to appear as a special guest contestant on TV's 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' next Tuesday, November 8th.

Last night, October 25th, James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's never-before-staged Evening Primrose took a one-night-only bow to benefit the St. George's Society of New York 's Anglo-American Cultural Awards at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. The production starred Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, John Windsor Cunningham, and Jessica Grove. EVENING PRIMROSE, the 1966 made-for-television Stephen Sondheim musical about a secret society of people living in department stores, will make its first appearance onstage on October 25, in a performance benefitting the St. George's Anglo-American Cultural Awards. The star-studded cast will include Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, John Windsor Cunningham, Carmen de Lavallade, Frederic Franklin, and Sondra Lee. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced.

Charlotte Moore and Ciaran O'Reilly continue The Irish Repertory Theatre's twentieth season with George Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple, directed by Tony Walton. Performances begin Wednesday, December 5, 2007 and will perform through January 27, 2008. The official opening will be on Thursday, December 13, 2007. The Irish Repertory Theatre is located at 132 West 22nd St.
