The EU Creative Europe Grant program is supporting theatre collaboration between the the Prague Shakespeare Company in Prague, Czech Republic, bremer shakespeare company in Bremen, Germany and The Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after Vasyl Vasylko in Odesa, Ukraine.

Prague Shakespeare Company in association with Letní shakespearovské slavnosti presents Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, directed by Guy Roberts, performed in English with Czech surtitle translation.

Prague Shakespeare Company will present a new version of Shakespeare's Richard III performed in the original English. PSC Artistic Director Guy Roberts directs and stars as Richard, the man audiences have loved to hate for over four hundred years. Deformed in body and spirit, this depraved madman is obsessed with becoming King of England. Does he fall? Of course, but not before he has taken all of us on his wickedly entertaining ride.

The Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) annual conference came to Prague this year. It has an extensive performance program, crafted by host Guy Roberts and Prague Shakespeare Company, that was open to the public as well as conference attendees. The conference was all about bringing the focus back to the artistic sides of things, as theatre tries to compete in a world filled with on-demand entertainment.

In Prague Shakespeare Company's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, set in World War II Britain, a group of nurses, wounded servicemen and patriots produce a radio broadcast of the Bard's classic to raise morale of the troops on the front. Main Street Theater brings this novel interpretation of the William Shakespeare comedy to its Rice Village location from December 31 to January 15, 2017.
