Dances Patrelle announces young dancer auditions for The Yorkville Nutcracker on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Ballet Academy East.

Dances Patrelle will present The Yorkville Nutcracker from December 9-11, 2022 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, E. 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, NYC. Performances: Friday at 7, Saturday at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday at 12pm and 5pm.

Dances Patrelle has will hold young dancer auditions for The Yorkville Nutcracker on Saturdays September 24 & October 1, 2022, and Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Ballet Academy East.

The Colburn School, one of the world's preeminent schools for music and dance, received a $1 million gift to establish the Beverly, Donald, and David Kobrin Scholarship Fund to provide more opportunities for male dancers from underrepresented communities to study at the School's Trudl Zipper Dance Institute.

Legendary dance works and internationally renowned performers will take the spotlight as the UofSC Dance Company presents R/Evolutions in Movement, April 9-10 at the Koger Center for the Arts.

Colburn School announced today that dancer, educator, and choreographer Silas Farley, a recent New York City Ballet alumnus, will become Dean of the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute (TZDI), and Darleen Callaghan, former Director of Miami City Ballet School, will become Associate Dean of TZDI, effective July 1, 2021.
