Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) has announced that FIDDLER ON THE ROOF will return to the Main Stage for the first time in 20 years. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF last graced the Main Stage in 1993 to mark Chanhassen's 25th anniversary. This time around, the theatres' most widely requested show will mark CDT's 45th anniversary. The production will run from September 27th, 2013 through January 25, 2014. CDT just announced the cast for the production.

History Theatre takes audiences back to a hot August night in 1953 for a unique look at the lives of burlesque dancers. Featuring classic burlesque dance numbers performed on the stage of the Gay 90s juxtaposed with the lives theses working women lived off-stage in the dressing room and beyond. The production QUEEN OF BURLESQUE will end its run May 23.

With a wink and a nod to both naughty and nice, you will be transported back to a hot August night at the Gay 90s in 1953 where the drama in the ladies' dressing room is rivaled only by the dancers' sizzle on the stage.
