Ella DuCharme BIO
Ella is an 8th year academy student at TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre. Regional credits: Bonnie and Clyde (Young Bonnie), TUTS Underground, Mary Poppins, Big, Hairspray, School House Rock with Houston Symphony, and Lion King Jr. (Junior Theatre Festival- TUTS. Other regional theatre includes: Annie, (Annie) and Shrek (Young Fiona) 9 to 5, (Missy), Wizard of Oz (Glinda), Once on This Island (Ti Moune), Seussical (Gertrude), A My Name is Alice, and Toxic Avenger at Wildfish Theatre, and Godspell (Bless the Lord) at Inspiration Stage. Ella has also performed as a featured soloist on KHOU TV's Great Day Houston Christmas Day Special, and as an opener for Natalie Weiss' Houston concert.

14-year-old Reyna Negret belted Aretha, tossing her hair and captivating the audience with her girl-power moves. What made Negret's performance so special is that she isn't just any teenager singing the Queen of Soul - Negret is a student at The River Performing and Visual Arts Center, Theatre Under the Stars' arts education program for children with all types and levels of disabilities.

Thirty-nine students from the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre have been bestowed with the honor and invited to participate in the 2015 Junior Theater Festival (JTF) held in Atlanta, Georgia on January 16, 17, and 18. Created by New York's iTheatrics and produced by the Junior Theatre group, this nationwide event is dedicated to celebrating young people and musical theatre.
