National recording artist, Top 6 X-Factor USA finalist, and fan favorite Drew Ryniewicz of Chino Valley, Ariz. will perform on the Allstar Nation Tour in front of thousands of students at a dozen Texas schools starting the week of Monday, January 26 at Tomball Junior High School in Houston.

In a recent interview with the Hollywoodreporter.com, judge Simon Cowell revealed that X FACTOR contestants Astro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene may be receiving Sony Music record deals in addition to the season winner Melanie Amaro. As winner of Season 1 of the Fox singing competition, Amaro was guarenteed a $5 million recording contract with Sony.

Online auditions for the second season of THE X FACTOR are now open! Now through Dec. 31, 2011 at 11:59 PM PT, solo artists and vocal groups 12 years old and over have the opportunity to submit their two-minute a cappella audition videos to www.TheXFactorUSA.com.

Last night, after the remaining 17 acts performed, the judges eliminated five acts, revealing THE X FACTOR Top 12 Finalists: Girls - Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow and Drew; Boys - Astro, Marcus Canty and Chris Rene; Over 30s - LeRoy Bell, Stacy Francis and Josh Krajcik; Groups - InTENsity, Lakoda Rayne and The Stereo Hogzz.

This is it everyone- the live shows are finally here! Tonight is the night that the real competition begins. The finals have begun and the winner is among the 17 contestants that are performing tonight. On top of that, by the end of the episode, five more will be eliminated and each judge has to choose only three from their group to move on to next week. Pressure is on as the finalists perform live for the judges, a studio audience, and the viewers at home. Who will prove they deserve to take it all? Who will choke so close to the finish line? The moment you have all been waiting for has arrived- the finalists have been revealed! After surviving the auditions, boot camp, and now the judges' home round, the toughest competitors are singled out to go head-to-head. This is the last installment of the three part judges' homes round, which means that the judges have each made their decisions of which four contestants from their group have what it takes to compete in the live finals. We are now left with the final 16 contestants that will be fighting to the finish!

The time has come everyone- the best of the best are suiting up and getting ready to face-off! It's the Judges' Homes round which means that we are just one step away from the highly anticipated live shows! After surviving Boot Camp, the remaining 32 contestants were separated into groups and assigned one of the four judges as a mentor. The stakes are raised as the competition is now not only between the contestants, but also between the judges to prove that they have the performer with 'The X Factor!' Over the course of three episodes, contestants will get the opportunity to visit their assigned judge's home and the 32 will be cut into the 16 who will move on to the live finals.

Reid and Nicole Scherzinger began their search for undiscovered talent 12 years old and over - both solo artists and vocal groups - who are worthy of the largest prize in television history: a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. This week the judges travel to Chicago and Seattle for auditions.
