BroadwayWorld is saddened to report the passing of Tony Award-winning producer Joseph Sirola.

Joe Sirola, who has been seen or heard in over 10,000 commercials brought his one man show "With A Little Bit Of Luck" to the Metropolitan Room yesterday. The audience didn't need much selling to realize why this fantastic actor has had such a successful career in Film, TV and on the stage.  Unlike his commercials which were replayed many times (much to his financial pleasure) it was a one time event at the world famous Cabaret on 22nd street in Manhattan.    

Joe Sirola, one of the worlds most successful voice -over actors, film, TV, and stage actor, was honored in the the Metropolitan Room's famous, "This Is Your Night" series last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Managing partner Bernie Furshpan hosted the evening which had performances by Steve Ross, Shana Farr, Gregory Korostishevsky, Eric Rudy Lee Pfeiffer, Jamie deRoy, and KT Sullivan. Jon Weber served as music director.

Last night, Jan. 25, KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler brought A SWELL PARTY, a tribute to Cole Porter to 54 Below. BroadwayWorld was on the scene to bring you coverage of the show - check out photos below!

Making its Off-Broadway debut, Jason Odell Williams' new romantic comedy, Handle With Care, opened last night, December 15th - at The Westside Theatre Downstairs (407 W. 43rd Street) - for an open-run engagement. The show began performances December 3, 2013. Featuring Tony Award Nominee and Broadway Legend Carol Lawrence heading an ensemble cast of four including Charlotte Cohn, Sheffield Chastain, and Jonathan Sale, Handle With Care is directed byKaren Carpenter.
