Five talented emerging playwrights of color will unveil exciting new works when Rising Circle Theater Collective presents PlayRISE, a series of readings featuring Bill Heck (Angels in America), Maria Elena Ramirez (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Francis Jue (M. Butterfly), Victoire Charles (Ruined), and Bhavesh Patel (War Horse), June 13-17 at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre.

The Public Theater will begin performances of 'Hamlet', the first production of the 2008 Shakespeare in the Park summer season, on Tuesday, May 27.

The Public Theater announces final casting for 'Hamlet' directed By Oskar Eustis. Joining Michael Stuhlbarg will be Lauren Ambrose and Sam Waterson. Also, a new online ticketing program will be available on the Public Theatre website.
