Today, Mirvish is flashing back to its 2011 production of Calendar Girls. The production ran April 15-May 28, 2011 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.
Montreal's English theatre community gathered in celebration at the beautiful and historic Rialto Theatre on Monday October 26th for the 3rd annual METAs ceremony, honouring excellence in Montreal English theatre for the 2014-2015 Season.
The Montreal English Theatre Awards, or METAs, were established in 2012 as a response to the need for the Montreal English Theatre community to promote and encourage their visibility and successes provincially, nationally and internationally. These peer-juried awards celebrate the artistic work that is outstanding in Montreal English Theatre, promote professional and emerging English theatre artists & companies and facilitate a level of critical discourse.
Due to popular demand, two performances have been added to the Segal Centre's production of The Graduate, adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson and directed by Andrew Shaver. Audiences are flocking to the Segal's 2014-2015 Season opener, which premiered on September 4th to rave reviews and tremendous buzz. The production will run until September 23rd, 2014.
