Penobscot Theatre Company is proud to present the award-winning musical and comedy group The Kinsey Sicks in their show Things You Shouldn't Say for two performances only at the Bangor Opera House on Friday, July 13th at 8 pm and Saturday, July 14th at 8 pm.

They're back! The ladies of The Kinsey Sicks are throwing down their sequined gloves and itching for a fight in Things You Shouldn't Say, their most personal--and political--show ever.  It plays at Theater J for a limited run July 19-30, 2017. Full of their signature panache, hilarity and perfect harmonies, this all new show takes a searing journey into Trumpism, racism, AIDS, giraffes, Bette Midler, oblong vegetables, and much, much more.

The Kinsey Sicks, the Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet that The San Francisco Chronicle deems "high-camp, unafraid, subversive and astonishing," brings its irreverent humor to the Theater J stage just in time for the holidays. With gut-busting parodies and raucous schtick, The Kinsey Sicks offers a hilarious alternative to the typical sentimental holiday fare. The ladies return to Theater J for a limited engagement run from December 20 through 28 after playing to sold-out crowds in 2011.

      The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced a one night only appearance of The Kinsey Sicks with their hit show Electile Dysfunction at the Renberg Theatre on Sunday, July 17 at 7pm. America's favorite Dragapella® Beautyshop Quartet has been described by the Washington Post as, "uproarious ... brilliant ... and authentically joyful."           

The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced the one night only appearance of The Kinsey Sicks: America's Next Top Bachelor Housewife Celebrity Hoarder Makeover Star Gone Wild! at the Renberg  Theatre tonight, June 10 at 8pm. The quartet will kick off LA's 2015 Pride Season.

Since their initial launch in 1993, the a cappella group The Kinsey Sicks have emerged as a cultural phenomenon within the LGBT community and far beyond. They've gone on to a multi-month run of their Off-Broadway show, seven CDs, concert appearances across the globe, and a plethora of music videos available on YouTube and elsewhere. Out of drag, they're known as Ben Schatz, Irwin Keller, Jeff Manabat and Spencer Brown. When in character with requisite costumes and makeup, they're Rachel, Winnie, Trixie and Trampolina. Either way, they've brought their delectable holiday show Oy Vey in a Manger! into the Metropolitan Room for a short stint (they'll appear again on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 PM and Wednesday, December 10th at 9:30 PM), for a nonstop hour of Yuletide merriment.
