Broad Stage's Celebrity Opera Series Concludes with Angela Gheorghiu and Vittorio Grigòlo


The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage's 2018 Celebrity Opera Series concludes with the great opera stars Angela Gheorghiu and Vittorio Grigòlo, joining forces for a concert of thrilling arias and duets on Tuesday, May 1 with world-renowned conductor, Eugene Kohn. Performing together at The Broad Stage for the first time, this is an exclusive pairing of two international icons in concert.

Jacques Lacombe Conducts NJSO in RITE OF SPRING Tonight


Music Director Jacques Lacombe and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra present Stravinsky's groundbreaking, riot-inducing The Rite of Spring on its 2012-13 classical season finale program, tonight, June 7-9 in Newark and Morristown. The NJSO opens the program with the Prelude and 'Liebestod' from Wagner's Tristan und Isolde as part of a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth; the program also features the concert suite from Debussy's Pelleas et Melisande.

Music Director Jacques Lacombe and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra present Tchaikovsky's mighty Fifth Symphony on a concert program that features the East Coast premiere of Steven Mackey's Stumble to Grace Concerto for Piano and Orchestra with pianist Orli Shaham. The Orchestra performs the Princeton University professor's concerto as part of the New Jersey Roots Project, which celebrates the music of composers whose artistic identity has been influenced by their time in the Garden State.
