The Pound: A Musical for the Dogs - a funny and heartwarming musical about a collection of colorful canines and their quest to find a home - will be showcased as part of Theatre Now New York's Sound Bites 4.0 musical theatre festival: http://www.tnny.org/ - an excerpt from The Pound: A Musical for the Dogs will be presented at the Signature Theatre on 42nd Street (Irene Diamond Stage) on May 29, 2017.

The Pound: A Musical for the Dogs was specifically written to highlight the plight of shelter animals and the need for animal adoption. The show has been in development since 2014 and was created by the same team (Phil Darg and Julie Ana Rayne) who created Sasquatched! The Musical (NYMF 2013); musical direction by Sinai Tabek.
