Meet the Creators of NYMF Musicals at BROADWAY Tonight! Showcase

In collaboration with the New York Musical Festival (NYMF), BROADWAY Tonight! will host seven shows from this year's festival over two evenings at Treehaus MiMa near Times Square. Audiences will get up close and personal with the writers, directors and performers from some of the hottest new musical projects from around the country.

Tonight, July 19th, performers from The Fourth Messenger, Play Like A Winner and The Body Politic will be featured. On Wednesday July 26th, performances will include the casts of MotherFreakingHood! (Maternal Discretion Advised), Georama, The Demise and Camp Wanatachi. Both shows start at 8pm. Tickets and details can be found at www.broadway-tonight.com.

The life journeys of a show creators and performers can be as inspiring as their work. Interspersed with song and surprises, host Jesse Corbin (Off-Broadway's The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe ) weaves a 90 minute experience filled with laughter, inspiration and depth. BROADWAY Tonight! provides a rare opportunity to hear the grit and grandeur behind the making of new works from the New York Musical Festival while experiencing selected musical numbers.

Shows start at 8pm and end around 9:30pm, followed by mingling and conversation. There is a $10 cover charge and a $15 food minimum plus two beverages per person. The Treehaus offers its "Epicurean buffet", a selection of Oysters (including $1 Oysters), desserts and wide variety of wine and craft beer.

The Treehaus MiMa, located at 470 W 42nd St., is a new organic marketplace, food court and music venue, guests also enjoy amazing food and drinks and an expansive view onto 42nd street through 30 foot windows. Reservations are available at broadway-tonight.com. Limited seating.
