Wolfbane will celebrate wine and the arts with their second annual Dionysus Festival on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

All proceeds for this event will support the upcoming Civil War adaptation of Wolfbane's Romeo and Juliet at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park in June. Mix and mingle with the cast as you enjoy local Virginia wines and artisans, live music, and a reading of the Broadway winning production Venus in Fur by David Ives.

Wolfbane's Dionysus Festival will start at the Wolfbane Performing Arts Center (Wolf P.A.C.) at 6:00pm with live music as guests enjoy wine and mead tastings from Hunting Creek Vineyards, Rebec Vineyards, Rosemont of Virginia and Skjald Meadworks with local chocolate pairings from Altus Chocolates. At 7:00pm, Wolfbane will present a reading of the Tony-award winning Venus in Fur by David Ives, starring Amy Northup and Christopher Trindade. Have fun, but be responsible-add a night at the brand new Appomattox Inn and Suites for only $98.

Wolfbane Productions is a professional, non-profit theatre company bringing Broadway-style productions to Central Virginia at an affordable price. Entering its tenth year, Wolfbane is proud to present three incredible main stage productions this summer. First up is an original adaptation of Shakespeare's classic ROMEO AND JULIET (June 1-July 1) at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park. Next, back by popular demand, the hilarious, musical parody EVIL DEAD: THE MUSCIAL (July 20-August 5), which comes complete with an audience blood splatter zone. Rounding out the season, the ever-popular ROCKY HORROR SHOW (September 7-September 30).

Show and special event tickets are on sale now at www.wolfbane.org; the Dionysus Festival is $25 when purchased in advance. This event is for patrons 21+ only (ID will be required for entry). Each individual ticket is 80% tax deductible! Tickets are limited and going fast, so please visit Wolfbane on Facebook for updates.
