AUDITIONS!
If you've been itching for a chance to stretch out your acting muscles then this is your lucky day. ACT has two audition opportunities coming up.
Auditions for Western Civilization: The Complete Musical (abridged) are happening this Saturday and Sunday (May 30 & 31) at 2 PM at ACT.
Presented at ACT this summer (July 10 - Aug 1) by Midnight Sun Theatre in collaboration with ACT. Directed by Dave Block.
Roles for 2 men and 1 woman. Physically intensive.
A musical/comedy version of the last 1000 years! One thousand years in one hundred minutes! Combining smarty-pants irreverence with physical buffoonery and street-wise smarts, a musical tour through history from Leif Ericsson to Y2K.
Performances: July 10 – Aug 1, Rehearsals: June.
Please bring a prepared piece of music (with CD or MP3 player). Cold readings will be provided.
Also seeking a committed, bright, independent, physically capable stage manager.
Auditions for The Women of Lockerbie are happening this Monday and Tuesday (June 1 & 2) at 7 pm at ACT.
Presented next fall (Nov 5 - 15) by RKP Theatre in collaboration with ACT. Directed by Bob Pond.
Roles for 2 men (30 – 55) and 5 women (25 – 60+)
A thoughtful exploration of the innocent as they revisit a terrorist event; a powerful voice responding to the grief of our times.
Performances: November 5 – 15, Rehearsals: late Sept thru October.
