About The Dickens Christmas Feast:
Welcome to our interactive festive celebration of Victorian song, dance, story-telling, and feast! Set in the year of 1891 and hosted at the elegant 19th century John N.A. Griswold House (Newport Art Museum), the MBTC portrays notable figures of Newport high society in period Victorian costume. It is a three-hour experience where the actors invite the guests to step back in time and indulge in the traditions, tastes, stories, and sounds of the late Victorian age.

Evening revolves around the unique re-telling of Charles Dickens’ beloved novella, A Christmas Carol, in which the guests will participate. Period costumes, etiquette, dancing, singing, and much merriment for all! Performance dates are Friday, December 12 & Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 7-10pm. Flexible rehearsal schedule, beginning in September; paid positions.
