the winner of last year's Playwright Festival.
Auditions will be held
Feb 25th from 12 - 3 pm and
Feb 26th from 6-9 pm
at Old Hickory United Methodist Church
1216 Hadley Ave. Old Hickory, TN
The show has 4 women's roles and 4 men's roles.
Age ranges 20 - 50. Some exposure to Shakespeare a plus. Auditions will be cold readings from the script. Resumes and head shots not required but appreciated. If you have any questions please contact the director Sara at

Synopsis:
The Arts Center is trying to keep it’s head above water by selecting a sure-fire-money-maker with great name recognition (and no royalties)… Romeo and Juliet…
But will Shakespeare’s classic tragedy unwittingly be turned into a comedy in this “Guffman-like” play within a play, farce with heart, as two star-crossed cast lists wreak havoc on this community theater’s ill-fated production?
