Spider Man: The Musical: The Musical - Corn Productions
Corn Productions is seeking a diverse group of actors for their spring production of ‘Spider Man: The Musical: The Musical,’ directed by Kallie Noelle Rolison. All adult ages, ethnicities, and body types are welcome. Some roles will be gender-swapped/gender-neutral. Specifically looking for celebrity impersonations for: Julie Taylor, Stan Lee, and The Edge; as well as a diverse comedic cast that can play several roles. CASTING LARGELY DETERMINED UPON ACTOR CONFLICTS; MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE ALL TECH AND PERFORMANCE DATES.
Audition Date: GENERAL AUDITIONS - Saturday, February 27th; 10am-4pm @ Cornservatory CALLBACKS - Sunday, February 28th; 1-5pm @ Cornservatory
Audition Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Audition Location: Cornservatory 4210 N Lincoln Ave Chicago, IL 60618
Equity/Non Equity: Non-Equity; no pay
Type/Restrictions: Adult actors, all ethnicities and body types welcome, some roles will be gender-swapped/gender-neutral
Time Commitment:
REHEARSALS begin March 1st and run through April 9th (weekday nights and weekend afternoons). Rehearsal schedule will be determined based on actor availability.
TECH is April 10th – 14th
PERFORMANCES are Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat evenings; April 15th – May 28th
Material To Prepare:
Please prepare one 1-minute comedic monologue that falls under the theme of farce, parody, or absurdity. Please also prepare 26 bars of music to be sung a cappella in the same style as mentioned above. Please bring a copy of your headshot/resume.
