SigWorks: Musical Theater Lab Wants Your New Musical

Signature is proud to announce our second annual SigWorks: Musical Theater Lab open call for submissions. Two musicals will be chosen for a two-week development workshop during the summer of 2017, and each project will receive public readings at the end of each week. The projects, under leadership of Signature’s Director of New Works Joe Calarco, will work with a director, music director, professional actors, a stage manager, and a dramaturge. The writers of the chosen musicals will receive housing, travel, and an honorarium. We are only accepting submissions of musicals that have not been professionally produced.
