SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM

One Man & Three Women are Sought for Award-Winning Musical Tribute to Broadway Legend Stephen Sondheim that will Run July 30-August 9 at The Crest Theatre in Delray Beach & August 13-16 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse
(Delray Beach, FL – May 5, 2015) MNM Productions today announced that open auditions would be held on May 18-19 at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts for the award-winning musical SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM. The musical tribute to legendary Broadway composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim is being produced by MNM’s co-founders Marcie Gorman and Michael Lifshitz, with Bruce Linser serving as director and Paul Reekie as musical director.
SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM will run for 10 performances July 30 through August 9 at the Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, and for five performances August 13-16 at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach. One man in his 40s and three women (one each – ages 30s, 40s, 50s) are sought for the production, and both non-union and AEA members are encouraged to audition.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Any one auditioning needs to come prepared with:
+ Two contrasting one-minute cuts of Sondheim songs that show vocal and acting versatility and the performer’s ability to tell a story and connect truthfully with a lyric.
+ Sheet music in his/her key. An accompanist will be provided. No recorded accompaniment or a cappella singing.
+ Headshot and resume.
+ Equity Membership Card if applicable.
NOTES:
+ MNM Productions seeks local Florida actors only and does not make casting decisions base on video submissions.
+ Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
+ While all performers will be paid, housing will not be provided for out-of-town performers.
