SEEKING NON-UNION ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES TO PLAY THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
[SHREK]: 20s – 30s Male. Ideally 5’11” and up. Crass, brutish, lonely with an ogre-sized heart. Unknowingly funny and ultimately heroic. Strong pop rock voice. Sings to an A. Principal role.
[DONKEY]: 20s – 30s African American Male. Shrek’s self-appointed sidekick. Charmingly clingy and high spirited with a surprising depth. Wide-eyed and optimistic. Great comic skill with an R&B vocal vibe. Should sing up to an A flat. Principal role.
[PRINCESS FIONA]: 20s-30s Female. Smart, feisty and outspoken princess in search of her ‘true love’. Lived most of her life alone in a tower. Funny, Charming, off-kilter, and tough. Excellent singer. Basic tap. Principal role.
[LORD FARQUAAD]: 30s-40s Male. Pompous, Power-Hungry, Perfectionist. Napoleon Complex. Excellent comic skills with strong voice. Principal role.
[YOUNG FIONA]: Female girl to play 7-9 years old. Max 5’3” in height. Excellent singer and actress. Ensemble role.

Men – Please bring flat shoes, tap shoes, & kneepads.
SEEKING NON-UNION ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES FOR THE FOLLOWING ENSEMBLE ROLES:
[PINOCCHIO]: Male. Funny, sometimes cynical, but ultimately hopeful. Featured in the song “Freak Flag” High Tenor voice. Basic tap.
[3 PIGS]: Three males. Great singers/actors (Baritone & Tenor) Funny, anxious, have German accents. Basic tap.
[PETER PAN]: Male. Excellent dancer (tap and jazz) and excellent singer with great comic skill. Acrobatic skills are a plus. Basic tap.
[WOLF]: Male. Tough guy who isn’t afraid to let the world know he likes dressing up in Granny’s clothes. Seeking an actor with great comic skill, an excellent singer and strong mover. Basic tap. Bass-Baritone to a high G.
[WICKED WITCH]: Female. A tough broad. Alto. Great comic skills.
[FAIRY GODMOTHER]: Female. A kooky eccentric woman. Likes glitter. Soprano to a high E. Basic tap.
[GINGY/SUGAR PLUMB FAIRY/TEEN FIONA]: Female. A tortured cookie. Seeking a great comic actress who can also perform character voices, and sing with vocal versatility and solid mix. Belts to a D. Basic tap.
[UGLY DUCKLING]: Female. Excellent dancer: tap and jazz with great comic skill.
[SHOEMAKER’S ELF]: Female. Excellent dancer: tap and jazz with great comic skill.
[MAMA OGRE/MAMA BEAR/DRAGON]: Female. Warm and welcoming presence. Full rich voice. Also plays the Dragon. Seeking an exceptional female singer with a big pop/rock belt and strong comic skills.
[PAPA BEAR]: Male. Warm and welcoming voice. Great dancer and singer. Basic tap.
[BABY BEAR]: Female. Excellent dancer: tap and jazz, excellent singer, great comic skill.
