The Reston Community Players announce a casting call for Rock of Ages directed by Joshua Redford.
Do you love to rock out to the iconic tunes of Bon Jovi, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake, and Twisted Sister? Have you always wanted to sing on stage with a killer band jammin’ out to these tunes? Then Rock of Ages is exactly what you are looking for. Aspiring rock star, Drew, and aspiring actress, Sherrie, try to prevent developers from turning the Sunset Strip into a strip mall. Break out your air guitar and Aqua Net, and join us for Rock of Ages.
When: THURSDAY, December 1st from 7:45pm - 10:15pm and SATURDAY, December 3rd from 6:00pm - 10:15pm
Invited callbacks: SUNDAY December 4th at 6:00pm
Production Dates: March 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31, and April 1

WHERE: Auditions will be held at the Reston Players Rehearsal Hall --- 266 Sunset Park Dr. --- Sunset Business Park, Herndon, VA (directly off the Fairfax County Parkway in the Sunset Business Park.
WHAT: Arrive 15 minutes early for your audition. Auditioners will either sing first and then learn a dance combination, or they will first learn the dance combination and then sing. You only need to sign up for one slot.
Prepare 16-32 bars that showcases your ability to sing Rock.
Complete the audition form and bring it with you, or you can fill out the form when you arrive. Headshots are welcome, but we will also take your photo.
