“Native Gardens” & “The Great Gatsby”
The Ivoryton Playhouse will be holding local auditions for Equity and non Equity actors for Native Gardens by Karen Zacarias and The Great Gatsby by Simon Levy.
Native Gardens is a comedy in which cultures and gardens clash, turning well-intentioned neighbors into feuding enemies. Auditions will be held on Friday, January 31st from noon – 8pm at the Ivoryton Playhouse Rehearsal Studio, 22 Main Street in Centerbrook, CT
Looking for a man and woman, 25 – 35, preferably Latinx, and a man and woman, 60 – 70. Also Extras: Surveyor, landscapers, building examiner- All Genders, 18-60. Preferably Latinx. Silent. But, must move well and be adept at physical comedy and improvisation. Directed by Brian Feehan, the show runs from May 27 – June 14, 2020. First rehearsal – May 12.
Auditions for The Great Gatsby, a fresh and relevant stage adaptation of the classic novel, will be held on Monday, February 3 2020 from noon – 8pm.
Looking for actors, male and female, to play characters aged 25 – 45. Directed by Todd Underwood, the show runs from April 22 – May 10, 2020. First rehearsal – April 7th.
