Show Info: Do you believe in Santa? Do you love Christmas? Then this is the show for you!
By chance, Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy’s. Kris unleashes waves of goodwill with Macy’s customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for. At stake is one girl’s belief in Santa.
*Cast: 19 adults, few children
Major roles:
Kris Kringle (must look like Santa. Real Santa is welcome to audition.)
Doris Walker (female 30s - 40s)
Susan Walker (girl, needs to play age 7-8)
Fred Gayley (male, lawyer, play age 30s - 40s)
Doctor Pierce (can be male or female and any adult age)
Judge Harper (male or female)
Macy
Bloomingdale
many other adult roles available
Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
Rehearsals will begin in October and generally be Sunday-Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
We are looking for a costumer.
Eleven Performances: November 28, 29, 30, December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19 & 20 ~ 2014. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30. Sunday matinees begin at 3:00.
