Hartford Stage Holds Auditions

for Youth Actors

Hartford Stage seeks a total of four boys, ages 10-15, to play the roles of Fleance, Macduff's Son, Young Siward and others in the upcoming production of Macbeth. The first rehearsal will be Friday, August 1, and the production will run untilNovember 17, 2013. Macbeth will run in repertory with Marivaux's La Dispute, and the young actors will alternate performances so that each young actor plays half the performances in the run. Some student matinees required. These roles are for local non-AEA young actors. A small stipend will be provided.

Initial auditions will be held Wednesday-Friday, July 17-19, from 3pm-6pm, with callbacks scheduled the following week. The location is the Hartford Stage Rehearsal Studios at 942 Main Street in downtown Hartford.
