Don’t Miss BPA’s Auditions for LOVE LETTERS
Wednesday, December 9 @ 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to present auditions for A. R. Gurney’s romantic comedy LOVE LETTERS on December 9. LOVE LETTERS runs February 5, 7, 12, 13, and 14, with a Pay-What-You-Can Preview on February 4. Rehearsals are four days per week,January 4 – February 3. BPA is seeking one lead woman and one lead man – age 45 and up. This production may be double cast. Those auditioning should prepare a one-two-minute monologue.

Gurney gives us a rich portrait of artist Melissa Gardner and politician Andrew Makepeace Ladd III as they take swings and misses through decades of love letters in this evocative, funny, and bittersweet story of their lives. Spilling from page to stage, LOVE LETTERS is a testament to the power of words – capturing the complexities of two hearts inextricably bound from childhood. LOVE LETTERSis directed by
Ann Wilkinson Ellis and produced by special arrangement with
Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
BPA auditions for LOVE LETTERS are Wednesday, December 9 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Auditions are by appointment only, and interested parties are requested to email
