Audition Announcement
PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
AspenDream Productions™ is a company consisting of professional comedy wedding and murder shows. We feature unique scripted comedies along with some improv combined with a dinner throughout various venues (corporate/commercial and non-profit) throughout CT and Western Mass. AspenDream Productions™ is the longest continually running interactive dinner theatre in CT.
REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATIONS
AspenDream Production™ shows rehearse 3-4 times before performances on a Sunday evening; performances are ongoing with a commitment in CT with a well-known venue along with various venues throughout the year. Shows are generally on Friday and Saturday. Artists are auditioning to join the company. Rehearsal location is Harwinton CT. Location of venue(s) could be anywhere in CT or Western MA. Actors must provide their own transportation.
COMPENSATION DETAILS/NON-UNION
Stipend per performance plus meals. No pay for transportation.

DETAILS:
Our actors are all professionals, most of them having college degrees in Theatre Performance, Musical Theatre, Dance and other Performing Arts categories. Please do not apply if you do not have experience or you are not serious. Seeking understudies as well as lead and supporting roles to join our 17 year old company.
Diverse Roles (Lead and Supporting): Males & Females
All types, especially those who are excellent at improv, can work as a team player, singing a plus, can speak in NY/Italian/European accents/outgoing personality/does not have to be available for all shows but must be available for majority of shows.
•Danny Lambrusco/Hugh Jass (Lead): Male, 25-35, Caucasian
Groom, Captain of Football Team, Italian, handsome, charismatic, blue collar, a mama’s boy.
•Male #2 (Supporting): Male, 45-75, Priest, Con Man, must be able to do Irish Accent,
Character actor.
•Donna Lambrusco/Pom Pom Splitz(Lead): Female, 18-early 30’s, Caucasian
Bride, Italian, attractive, charismatic, gets what she wants, party girl.
•Female #2 (Supporting): Female, 18-early 30’s, All Ethnicities
Bridesmaid, Italian, sexy, think K. Kardashian/Snookie type

If you qualify, you will be contacted for an audition in Harwinton,CT on a Sunday in June or July after phone interview. Then you must prepare a one-minute comic monologue. If you sing please be prepared to sing a Capella as no accompanist will be provided. Also be prepared for cold reading and improv sessions.
