OPEN CASTING CALL for EASTLINE’s 2016 SEASON:
EastLine Productions announces a multiple casting call for the first three plays of its 2016 season:
“FROST/NIXON”, a drama by Peter Morgan (performs January 15th – 24th) ;
“THE BEST MAN”, a drama by Gore Vidal (performs February 20th – 28th);
“ENTER LAUGHING”, a comedy adapted by Joseph Stein, based on Carl Reiner’s autobiography (performs April 1st – 10th at the theater, with an additional private performance on April 30th at a Nassau County venue TBA.)
Please Note: All actors are required to be available for ALL performances, as well as brush up rehearsals during the latter half of April.
Multiple auditions will be held for ALL three plays on:
Sunday, November 22nd, 5:00 - 7:30 pm, and Tuesday, November 24th, 7:30 - 10:30 pm,
at the EastLine Theater, located at 2123 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, NY, 11793,
just a few blocks south of Sunrise Highway.
Note: Callbacks may be requested by directors, so please be available to attend both audition dates.
REVISED Audition Requirements:
1) Please read and be familiar with the play(s) and role(s) you will be
auditioning for.
2) For “Frost/Nixon” and “The Best Man”: Actors MUST prepare an
appropriate monologue to audition with for either or both dramatic plays, PRIOR to
reading from sides, which will be provided.
3) For “Enter Laughing”: Actors auditioning ONLY for “Enter Laughing” need NOT prepare a monologue in order to read from sides provided.
