The
Moscow Ballet announces open auditions on Sat, Sep 21, 11 AM for student dancers ages 7 to 16 years at the State Theatre, 453 Northampton Street, Easton. Moscow Ballet’s “
Dance with Us” Audition Director Svetlana Todinova will be present to select 50 dancers to perform as Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Angels, and many more roles in the Great Russian Nutcracker for two performances on Dec 14th at the State Theatre.
Applicants must have at least one year of ballet training, dress in dance attire and may bring Pointe shoes.Register for the audition at

610-252-3132 to pay by phone prior to audition. Students must also be able to attend weekly rehearsals leading up to the performance.
Svetlana Todinova is a soloist and teacher for Moscow Ballet’s educational programs including Summer Intensives and “New Horizons – A Children’s Program for Life,” in addition to Audition Director. She trained at theRudolph Nureyev Russian State Ballet Academy (formerly Ufimsky Choreography School) named in honor of the legendary dancer who was also a graduate and she worked with Yuri Grigorovich, famous for his virtuosic productions at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theater.
