What to prepare:
Prepare one 32 bar contemporary musical theatre song. Come with sheet music with the cut in your key.
Production Schedule:
1st Rehearsal: May 18, 2015
1st Preview: June 24, 2015
Press Opening: July 2, 2015
Contemplated Closing: August 16, 2015
Rehearsals are typically Monday through Saturday from 10am-6pm. If cast, your child will be expected to be at all rehearsals and performances she is called for.
Standard performance week:
Monday-Tuesday: Off
Wednesday – 1:30pm
Thursday - 1:30pm & 8:00pm
Friday - 8:00pm
Saturday - 5:00pm & 8:30pm
Sunday – 2:00pm & 6:00pm
Character Descriptions and Vocal Ranges:
Little Cee Cee – Ten years old, flashy, outspoken, outrageously talented, fiery, funny, loud-mouthed. Belts and taps her faces off.
Vocal Range: Belter. G3 to D5. Ability to mix above a C5. Should have a good ear for harmony and strong sense of rhythm.
Little Bertie – Nine years old. Beautiful, elegant, proper, well-spoken, very reserved and naïve.
Vocal Range: Mixer. A3 to E5. Strong mix and sweet head voice. Should have a good ear for harmony and strong sense of rhythm.
