BROADWAY PALM ANNOUNCES
CHILDREN’S AUDITIONS FOR 24th SEASON!
Broadway Palm is holding open auditions for children ages 7 to13 on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. Auditions are on a first-come, first-served basis. A sign-up sheet will be available at 9 a.m. No appointments will be taken.
The following are the productions and roles that are available:
Evita, rehearsals September 29 – October 12, 2016 and plays October 13 – November 19, 2016
Casting the roles of:
1. Ensemble boys and girls. Age 7 – 12 and must be 5’ and under. Must sing well, but no dance required.
White Christmas, rehearsals November 10 - 23, 2016 and plays November 24 – December 25, 2016 (Must be available on Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
Casting the role of:
1. Susan Waverly. Girls, age 9 – 13 and must be 5’ and under. High energy with outstanding stage presence. Big belt voice and must move well.
Anyone interested in auditioning should bring a current headshot/picture, theatrical/musical resume and be prepared to sing 16 bars that best shows off your vocal range. Please bring sheet music in the proper key, an accompanist will be provided (no recorded music is accepted.) Songs should be in the musical theatre genre.
Broadway Palm is a professional theatre. Productions require a two-week rehearsal process with rehearsals daily. Anyone interested must be available for the two-week rehearsal process and all performances. Performances are Tuesdaythrough Sunday evenings with selected matinees on Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. We will do our best to work around school hours for children. All children’s roles are double cast and will alternate performances. Performance schedules are available at
