CASTING FOR SEASON 29 AT OPEN STAGE - revised
Open Stage of Harrisburg is holding auditions for all roles in the following productions: BILL W. AND DR. BOB and A RAISIN IN THE SUN. See below for a complete casting breakdown. Auditions are by appointment. Actors should prepare a contemporary two-minute memorized contemporary monologue and be prepared to read from the scripts. BILL WILSON 30’s – 40’s. Tall, lanky with a commanding presence. A stockbroker, Bill is described as “someone who could talk a dog off a meat wagon.” Alcoholic who through his struggles and association with Dr. Bob founds the first 12 step program. Vermont born.
DR. BOB SMITH 50’s. Also Vermont born. Witty and wry in his down home way. A surgeon, who is also a desperate drunk and with Bill Wilson, founds Alcoholics Anonymous
