announces adult auditions
Roles available for several 2017 Season productions
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announces open call auditions will take place in October for roles in several of its 2017 Season productions, and its 2016 holiday show.
Auditions will take place Oct. 17 at Beef & Boards, 9301 Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a dance callback at approximately 6:30 p.m. Do not attend the callback unless asked.
Those auditioning should prepare 16-24 bars of two contrasting vocal selections, with sheet music in the correct key, and be prepared to deliver a monologue or read from a side, if asked. Auditioners need to bring a recent 8 x 10 photo and updated resume, and should dress in appropriate clothing.
Availability is required for all rehearsals and all performances of the following shows:
A Beef & Boards Christmas – Rehearsals start Nov. 10, 2016. Show on stage Nov. 25 through Dec. 23, 2016. (Three female dancers still needed.)
Shear Madness – Rehearsals start Dec. 15, 2016. Show dates are Dec. 29, 2016 – Jan. 29, 2017.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – Rehearsals start Jan. 21, 2017. Show dates are Feb. 2 – March 26, 2017.
My Fair Lady – Rehearsals start March 18, 2017. Show dates are March 30 – May 14, 2017.
Shrek, the Musical – Rehearsals start May 6, 2017. Show dates are May 18 – July 2, 2017.
Pinkalicious (Pyramid Players Live Theatre for Kids series) – Rehearsals start Feb. 17. Shows on Fridays and Saturdays Feb. 14 through March 18, 2017.
A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed no less than two weeks prior to the start of rehearsal. Regardless of the schedule, all cast memberes are expected to be available during regular rehearsal hours.
