ALL THE IN-BETWEEN - Uphill Theatre Co.

The Uphill Theatre Company is casting all roles for the world premiere of All the In-Between at the 2020 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Auditions will be held at the West studio in the Hollywood Complex on Saturday, February 29th and Sunday, March 1st at the Complex Hollywood.

Rehearsals and show dates will be posted, so please come ready to note any and all conflicts. Please bring a resume and headshot, and prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. Does not need to be age or gender appropriate, so feel free to use any sort of material you feel represents you as an actor. We will give you a specific character to read for after you perform your monologue. There will be printed sides, and please come prepared to do cold readings.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS

There are no specified ages or genders of any characters. The Uphill Theatre Company is deeply committed to inclusive, color-conscious casting. All ethnicities and genders are encouraged to audition.

Sam - Pragmatic. Will go to great lengths to feel like they belong somewhere. Gets caught up in the ideals of being in love, but do they understand what love is? There is a part of them that questions the very notion of love.

Charlie - A romantic. Wanting to sweep someone off their feet. Ready to be someone's white knight if needed. Blind to the inherent difficulties of interpersonal relationships.

Pollard - Annoying. Devil's advocate. Cheeky. Has an unspoken connection to the audience that Sam and Charlie do not. An actual bird.
