Calling all Singers! The Red Caboose Motel & Restaurant in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, is producing an original revue show that will be presented to guests, tourists and the community this summer on stage at The Barn as part of the Summer Entertainment Series. There will also be a version of the show that will premiere during Thomas the Tank Engine weekends. Get in on this exciting, first-time production experience! The possibilities are endless.
CASTING REQUIREMENTS
Casting 4 men and 3 women. 18 and over. Please prepare 32 bars of two contrasting styles that best showcase your vocal range and style, as singing harmonies within a trio, quartet or octet will be required as part of the show. Accompanist will be provided. No tracks, please.
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Rehearsals will be 1-2 times a week beginning in mid-May. Performance dates are Saturdays, June 17 & 24 (4 shows each day, 30 minute show) and Saturday, July 8 at 8 p.m. (60 minute show). No stipends are available, but meals will be provided by Casey Jones’ Restaurant (on site) on performance dates. Performance footage will be made available for reels.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held at 312 Paradise Lane, Ronks, PA in the Parlor Car on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m, by appointment only. Walk-ins will be seen if time permits.
