2:00PM (LIVE); 7:00PM (ENCORE).
It’s 1786 and King George III is the most powerful man in the world. But his behavior is becoming increasingly erratic as he succumbs to fits of lunacy. With the King’s mind unravelling at a dramatic pace, ambitious politicians and the scheming Prince of Wales threaten to undermine the power of the Crown, the fine line between being a King and being a man is exposed. National Theatre Live is a broadcast filmed in front of a live audience in a theatre in the United Kingdom, with cameras carefully positioned to ensure that cinema audiences get the ‘best seat in the house.’
