After the success of their first-ever Variety Show in 2011, Bridge Studio for the Performing Arts are bringing more big entertainment names to Dumont in their second installment of the show. Featuring performers from the Broadway stage and TV, Bridge Studio's second annual Variety Show is all set to wow audiences at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (344 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ) on Saturday, March 3 at 7:30PM. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased by calling 201-394-9697, visiting www.bridgestudiofortheperformingarts.com, or emailing at bridgestudioforperformingarts@gmail.com.

This year's cast is known for their performances in the Broadway, TV and film including Keir Dullea (2001: A Space Odyssey), Michelle Dawson (Mamma Mia, Ragtime), Joe Cassidy (Les Mis, Catch Me If You Can, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Kevin Kern (Wedding Singer, Les Mis) Bart Shatto (Les Mis, Dracula), Esther Barrosa (Miss Siagon), and Bridge Studios' Elizabeth Synnott and Andrea Prendamano.

Bridge Studio's goal is to create an artistic environment that welcomes all to express their talents freely. The studio is dedicated to fostering the growth of those talents by providing an encouraging arena for studying the arts, and it believes that all of its students, regardless of age or level, fuse their creative energies with their everyday lives. Bridge Studio caters to those who want to be professional performers, novice performers, and those who want to learn the behind- the-scenes action. Many times artists wish to pursue their creative journeys, but to survive in their world one needs to understand the real-life demands of living in the industry and having a sense that it is a business. Bridge Studio strives to be the bridge to the performing outlet of the world, New York City. Being in close proximity is an advantage to anyone wishing to join the entertainment industry-either behind the scenes or in front of the scenes.
