When four small town Vermont residents enroll in an acting class taught at the local community center, they discover much more than they thought possible. As they begin to experiment with harmless games, their real offstage lives gradually infiltrate the classroom, revealing insights and transformations both humorous and heartbreaking. Winner of the 2010 Obie Award for Best Play, this is an interesting and comedic look at how the intimacy of an acting class has the power to shape lives in surprising and substantial ways.
