First Stage Children's Theater announces a programming change to its 2010-2011 season. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the theatrical rights to GO, DOG, GO - slated for performances October 2-17, 2010 at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center - are no longer available for the upcoming season. In its place, First Stage will present AESOP'S FABLES - a comical revue featuring "The Tortoise and the Hare" and other famous tales - October 2-17, 2010 at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 W. Walnut Street in Milwaukee.

AESOP'S FABLES by Mike Kenny brings the ancient Greek storyteller's tales to life for children age 3 to 6 in a fun, interactive environment. Wolfie, Syd, Barry and Harriett are a vaudevillian performing troupe that appears in an abandoned theater. The foursome will introduce audiences to Aesop's moral tales, such as "The Tortoise and the Hare," "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" and "The Lion and the Mouse" through their delightful comical revue.

This production is part of First Stage's First Steps series - a series of two play that serve as an interactive theater experience introducing children ages three to six to the theater in a fun, interactive environment.

Current ticket holders to the original production of GO, DOG, GO may retain their original reservation or contact First Stage's patron services manager at (414) 267-2961 to exchange their reservation for another production in First Stage's 2010-2011 season. All season tickets are mailed in August.

Tickets to AESOP'S FABLES and the rest of First Stage's 2010-2011 season are on sale now, when purchased as part of a season ticket package consisting of choice of three or more plays. Single tickets will go on sale August 23, 2010. For more information on season ticket packages, visit www.FirstStage.org.
