Looking for something to do this coming weekend that the whole family will love? The Solstice Theatre in St. Francis has the answer for you, their rendition of the popular television show, Schoolhouse Rock Live. Audience members will be able to walk away from the production with popular songs such as 'Conjunction Junction' and 'I'm Just a Bill' stuck in their head and a better understanding of topics ranging from history to grammar.

The show is centered around Tom, a nervous teacher trying to figure out how to connect with his students before the first day of school. Luckily, throughout the production, different characters that stand for subjects in school show him the best way to teach his new students.

One special aspect of this show is the STArS that are involved in the production. STArS or Solstice Theater Arts School students are on stage in this summer's production in many different roles. On top of STArS teachers Josh Perkins, Liz Mistele, Katie Thompson, JillIan Smith, and Paul Pfannenstiel, nine students are also involved in the production. Char Manny and JillIan Smith direct this exciting production.

The show runs from July 26th- August 10th on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm. Tickets for adults are $20, $18 for students/seniors and $12 for children under 10 years old. Click here for tickets or they can be bought at the door or by calling 414.481.2800.
