OGURI Fantasy on Osaka Folk Tunes MOZART Sinfonia Concertante ELGAR Symphony No. 1
Acclaimed Japanese conductor Kazuyoshi Akiyama presents a work from his homeland, followed by Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for four wind instruments and orchestra. Elgar’s magnificent First Symphony, called “the greatest symphony of modern times” when it first appeared in 1908, closes the programme. Ages: Children below the age of 8 shall not be admitted.
