Staged in glittering details, this spectacle of story-telling in music, in lyrics, in dialogue, in performance, and in dance, charts the development of musicals in the two greatest musical centres of the world -- Broadway and West End.
From landmarks like South Pacific and The King and I,through crowd pullers like Cats, Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera and modern successes such as Mamma Mia,Lion King and Wicked, the world of stage musical has never been more exciting, more enchanting and more mesmerising. Its magic continues to thrill us. And so are the stories of some of the greatest productions of musical theatre.
