The ubiquitous blue tarp provides the backdrop for this comic play about a Maine native defending his right to do as he's always done and a woman "from away" who wants to change things and knows just how to do it. This lighthearted examination of home, place, progress, and the way life "should" be was first written and developed for PTC's 2010 Northern Writes New Play Festival; named Best Play for the State of Maine in the 2013 Clauder New England Playwright Competition.
